Bowden to Pawtucket headlines flurry of promotions
In addition to the previously reported promotions of 1B Lars Anderson and SS Argenis Diaz to Portland, RHP Michael Bowden and OF Jeff Corsaletti have been promoted from AA Portland to AAA Pawtucket; OF Bryan Pritz has been reassigned to Portland from Pawtucket; 1B/DH Mike Jones and IF Yamaico Navarro have been promoted to High-A Lancaster from Low-A Greenville; IF Kris Negron has been reassigned from Portland to Greenville; 1B Carlos Fernandez has been promoted from Lowell to Greenville; and RHP Dennis Neuman has been promoted to Lowell from the GCL Red Sox. Additionally, the unconfirmed rumor that Josh Reddick had been promoted to Portland turned out to be just that - a rumor (and an incorrect one).
